As with any heat pump-based heater, the performance can reduce at lower outdoor temperatures, and as such it is advisable to have supplementary heating available when outdoor temperatures are sub zero, especially if the room is poorly insulated

Hi Lee,It has an internal water collection tank, but you usually don’t need to empty it manually because it mostly evaporates the moisture during normal use. If excess water builds up in humid conditions or dehumidifier mode, it can be drained either into the internal tank until it fills or more conveniently through a drain hose for continuous drainage.Thanks!
