Hi, The EcoSilent14W has 5 fan speeds (F1 Quiet, F2 Low, F3 Medium, F4 High and F5 Turbo), but individual dB(A) readings for each speed are not available. The published noise range is 38–51 dB(A), with the lowest setting operating at approximately 38 dB(A) and the noise level increasing with higher fan speeds.

Hi, the running cost will depend on your electricity tariff, but the electriQ EcoSilent 14000 BTU (EcoSilent14W) has a rated power input of 1.57kW. Based on a typical UK electricity rate of around 25–30p per kWh, this works out at approximately 39–47p per hour when running at full rated power. The product data also lists a typical consumption figure of around 1.26kWh per hour, which would equate to roughly 32–38p per hour. Actual costs will vary depending on room size, temperature settings and how often the compressor cycles on and off.

Hi Ann,Yes, you can use that portable air conditioner with hung windows, but you’ll need to slightly adapt the setup because the included window kit is mainly designed for sliding or sash windows. You’ll have to either leave the window partly open with the hose fitted through the gap or, better, use a universal window seal kit or a simple DIY panel to properly vent the hot air outside and prevent warm air from leaking back in.Thanks!
