Question from Francesca: Asked on 13/05/2026 Hi, my table has 58cm clearance from floor to underneath of the table (table top is 78.5cm).
I'm concerned this stool may be a little high to fit legs under my table - is there much padding in the seat/give in the seat that would squash it down a few CM - or is it very hard? Thanks
Hi, The Taryn stool has a fixed height of 48cm, which leaves you with a 10cm gap for legroom under your 58cm table clearance. Because this stool is designed with a solid internal frame to support the ottoman storage, the seat uses a high-density foam that is relatively firm to help it keep its shape. While it is comfortable, it won’t "squash down" significantly when you sit on it—you can expect a minimal give of only about 1–2cm. Since the stool arrives fully assembled and the height cannot be adjusted, I’d recommend checking if a 10cm gap feels like enough room for you to sit comfortably.
