Hi, The tines in both the upper and lower racks of the Hotpoint H2IHD526UK dishwasher do not move automatically during a wash cycle. The dishwasher’s FlexiLoad system and adjustable upper basket allow you to reposition or fold down the tines manually before starting the wash to fit different dishes, but once the cycle begins, the tines remain fixed in place.
