Hi, According to the official AEG specification and user manual, this model does not include a rinse hold or rinse-only programme. The shortest available cycle is the Quick 30-minute programme, which is a short wash cycle rather than a rinse-and-hold function.

Question from MARCUS: Asked on 08/05/2026 Our cabinet has a height of 71cm only but should be a common size, normal kitchen. The dishwasher has 82 cm. Did I get the wrong dimensions?

Hi, The AEG FSS64907Z is a standard 60cm fully integrated dishwasher with an appliance height of approximately 818 mm and, according to the manufacturer’s official installation specifications, it is designed to fit a kitchen cabinet with a minimum internal height of 820 mm (82 cm) and an adjustable range up to 900 mm. If your cabinet opening measures 71 cm (710 mm) internally, this would be below the required installation height and the appliance would not fit; however, we would recommend re-checking the measurement from floor to underside of worktop, as standard kitchen units for this type of dishwasher are typically 82 cm or higher, in which case the appliance would be suitable.

Hi Nikki,You can fit a 28?cm diameter plate in the bottom rack of the AEG FSS64907Z dishwasher, but only if you raise the upper basket to its highest position to provide enough clearance; if the upper basket is left in its lowest setting, a 28?cm plate may be too tall and could interfere with the spray arm.Thanks!

It works with standard hinged doors, and for handleless or push-to-open doors, a sliding door kit may be needed to ensure smooth operation.
