Question from Has: Asked on 16/09/2020 Where is the best place to put it in a three bedroomed house?

Answer from Nick: Answered on 17/09/2020
For the first few weeks, leave the dehumidifier in each room for a few days to draw out the excess moisture. Then put it closest to the source of humidity which could be a kitchen or bathroom. Otherwise for general humidity leave in hall upstairs or downstairs.

Question from CT: Asked on 16/09/2020 hi is it normal for it to turn itself off at the 55% i asked it to and to not turn itself back on even at 63% and also not even have the fan bit going either because it keeps doing that?

Answer from Nick: Answered on 17/09/2020
If setup in auto-mode it will turn itself off when it reach 50-55% relative humidity. To over-ride, move to manual mode but I suggest 55% is about right.

Question from Brian: Asked on 07/01/2019 Does it come with hose for continuous operation?

Answer from Henry: Answered on 07/01/2019
Hi, the CD12LE does not come with a hose but can be used with a standard hosepipe with an 10mm internal diameter.

Question from Babak: Asked on 06/01/2019 How often should the air filter be changed? Also, does the UV light produces ozone?
Thank you

Answer from Henry: Answered on 07/01/2019
Hello Babak, The filters will last about 18 months before they need changing. The UV light does not produce any Ozone.
