An external temperature gauge helps you monitor the temperature inside and is controlled by the top and bottom vents without even opening the lid. The fold-away wooden side shelves are perfect for holding condiments, spices and essential barbecue utensils.
Its thick ceramic shell retains heat, reduces cooking time and locks in moisture for incredible succulent results. It requires less fuel than an average charcoal grill, saving you money in the long run. It’s even self-cleaning, thanks to the high temperature it produces. Hi, Yes, the Boss Grill King Egg 27-inch ceramic kamado grill does come with a heat deflector. It actually includes two half-moon ceramic pizza stones that you can use as deflectors for indirect cooking. They help spread the heat evenly and keep food from sitting directly over the flames—great for smoking or roasting. Some people also wrap them in foil to make cleaning easier.
