Question from Will: Asked on 07/10/2025 Im looking at fitting this into a current brick charcoal bbq area. Is there minimum clearances on the back and sides?
Hi Will,Yes, the Boss Grill IQBBQINT4B barbecue requires significant clearance for safe operation: you must maintain a 1-metre (100 cm) gap from the sides and rear to any obstruction, and no overhead obstructions are permitted. Thanks!
Hello Will, yes, it does need to have a 1 meter clearance on either side for this model. Thanks
Question from Tom: Asked on 01/10/2025 I am embedding this into an outdoor kitchen worktop.
How low should I make the shelf for it to sit on to ensure full clearance when opening the lid.
Basically how tall is the bbq from feet to edge of lid once lifted at the back as show in the image.
Hi Tom,To ensure the lid of the Boss Grill IQBBQINT4B (Height: 45 cm) can open completely, you must factor in the vertical clearance needed for the lid's arc. While the exact clearance is not specified, you should allow an additional 30–40 cm of space behind the unit for the lid to swing back.
If you are building a surrounding worktop, ensure the BBQ is positioned so the total height of the open lid does not exceed the height of any structures behind it.Thanks!
