Question from Bill: Asked on 14/05/2026 Does this bbq require any assembly...regards

Question from Stuart: Asked on 11/05/2026 It is not clear whether the drip tray is removed via the front or back? A review, and an image I've seen online seems to suggest it is removed from the back, but other questions on the site have been answered suggesting is removed from the front. Please confirm as it is a deciding factor on whether or not this grill will be suitable for my outdoor kitchen.
Hi, After reviewing the assembly and maintenance manual for the Boss Grill Texas Lone Star 4 Burner Built In Gas BBQ Grill (IQBBQINT4B), the drip/grease tray is confirmed to be removed from the top/front via the cooking area, not from the rear of the unit. The manual shows the tray positioned internally beneath the cooking grids and flame tamers, which are removed from above for cleaning and maintenance. Rear access is therefore not required, making the BBQ suitable for installation against a rear wall provided there is sufficient clearance to fully open the lid and remove the internal components.
Thank you.
Question from Tom: Asked on 10/05/2026 Is it safe just to place this on an outdoor work surface or does the bottom of the BBQ need to be vented? It would still be vented at the sides and the top
Hi Tom,It isn’t safe to simply place this BBQ on a solid outdoor work surface; even though it vents at the sides and top, it still needs proper ventilation underneath and around it, as it is designed to be installed as a built-in unit within a vented cabinet or structure rather than sitting directly on a sealed surface.Thank you!
Question from D: Asked on 14/04/2026 Can this be used on natural gas/mains or are conversion kits available.?
Hi,This BBQ is designed to run on bottled LPG only and is not officially compatible with natural gas or mains gas, and there are no approved conversion kits for it, so it shouldn’t be converted for safety and warranty reasons. Thanks!
Question from Joe: Asked on 08/04/2026 Hi can this be loaded onto a wood surface?
Hi Joe,You can install the Boss Grill Texas Lone Star 4 Burner built-in BBQ into a wooden surface, but it must be properly insulated with non-combustible materials and adequate ventilation to prevent heat damage or fire risk. Thanks!
Question from Craig: Asked on 29/03/2026 Hi
What gas bottles are compatible?
I have a BP white bottle/green top Gaslight propane Gas 10kg is this compatible
Hi Craig,Your BP white bottle with a green top labeled “Gaslight Propane Gas 10?kg” is compatible with the Boss Grill Texas Lone Star 4 Burner Built-In Gas BBQ. This BBQ is designed to run on propane LPG, so your bottle will work perfectly as long as you use the correct low-pressure regulator and hose. While the manufacturer recommends a 13?kg propane bottle for longer cooking times, your 10?kg bottle will still function safely and efficiently. Just ensure the fittings on your bottle match the regulator and BBQ connection. Thanks!
Question from Rick Slack: Asked on 28/02/2026 Is the removable drip tray accessible from the front or the rear of the bbq ? As it’s being fitted into a bespoke outdoor kitchen and the rear of the bbq will be against a wall.
Thank you.
Hi RIck,The removable drip tray on the Boss Grill Texas Lone Star 4 Burner Built-In Gas BBQ (model IQBBQINT4B) is accessible from the front of the grill, so you do not need rear access to remove or clean it. This makes it suitable for a built-in outdoor kitchen where the back of the BBQ will be against a wall. Thanks!

Hi Robin,The gas pipe on the Boss Grill Texas Lone Star 4 Burner Built-In Gas BBQ (model IQBBQINT4B) is not visible from the front.
