Hi, The Reece King Size Bed Frame (REC001K) features a high-density support system consisting of 30 individual bed slats arranged in two columns of 15 rows each. These slats are secured using 30 end caps and 15 center connectors that snap into the side panels and the middle support rail. Given the internal frame length of 200cm for a standard King size mattress and the 15-row layout, the spacing between each slat is approximately 6.5cm, which is well within the 7.5cm maximum gap required by most mattress warranties to ensure proper support and ventilation. To provide further structural integrity, the base is reinforced by a middle support rail supported by three dedicated vertical legs, ensuring the frame remains stable and prevents any bowing under the mattress weight.
