The details
The unit that supersedes the ever popular MCM230, the MCe6.0 promises up to 6.5kW of cooling, which makes it effective for cooling a range of commercial spaces up to 150m³.
This deceptively powerful monoblock unit utilizes Broughton’s unique airflow delivery system to power the exhaust air along up to 10m of narrow 150mm diameter ducting. Not only does this make the ducting much more manageable and easier to store, it also allows the unit to be sited up to 10m away from the warm air exhaust point, preventing exhaust heat radiating back into the area you are looking to cool, making the machine more economical.
The cold air side also uses the same airflow technology, allowing a single unit to cool two areas at the same time with the option to extend the ducting. The dual outlets included as standard give the unit directional airflow as they can be positioned for maximum cooling effect. It’ll easily keep your room cool, even with heat-generating equipment on the go.
All new for this year is the digital thermostat that allows the user to set the desired temperature and sit back while the unit maintains it. Ideal for use either as a spot cooler or to help regulate temperatures wherever the need arises, the MCe6.0 is a fully portable powerhouse that ticks the environmental boxes.

Please Note:
The MCe6.0 is a Mono-block portable air conditioning unit. It is connected to a 13 Amp. 230Vac. 50Hz power supply and comes fitted with a fused uk moulded plug. It is recommended that the supply to the machine should be protected by a 30mA RCD. The MCe6.0 is supplied with 2.5m insulated exhaust duct, and 2 x 500mm click stop cooling duct. Further ducting available separately.
The appliance must be serviced by qualified engineers in compliance with local regulations. The appliance must be switched off and disconnected from the power supply before any work is carried out. An air gap of at least 300mm should be allowed at the front and rear of the unit to ensure a clear airflow. Extension cables should be correctly rated for the load, fully unwound and never run through water or over sharp edges.
This appliance contains an A2L refrigerant classified as mildly flammable. Always read the user and service manual before operation. The minimal charge within the appliance does not require a minimum room size for safe operation.
