Hi, The propane gas bottle for the Outback OUT371149 Mercury 4 Burner Gas BBQ should be stored externally next to the BBQ, kept upright on a stable surface in a safe, well-ventilated outdoor area. The manufacturer advises that the gas bottle should not be placed underneath the BBQ, laid on its side or stored indoors. This model is suitable for a 13kg propane patio gas bottle or a compatible cylinder.

Hi,The Outback Mercury Barbecue does require some assembly before it can be used. It is supplied with the components needed for assembly, and you will need to put the BBQ together following the instructions provided.Thanks!
