Question from Russ: Asked on 09/07/2023 Hi I’ve had my bbq a year last year the spark to light my gas worked this year it’s not working only on the separate grill any ideas please

Answer from SamCarter: Answered on 10/07/2023

Hi Russ,

Thanks for getting in touch

It would be best to contact Outback directly, the burners should be under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase

Hope this helps,
Sam

Question from Tony Ecuyer: Asked on 25/07/2022 Can you use the gas and the charcoal briquettes at the same time? i.e. use gas on the right of the grill and charcoal on the left.

Answer from SamCarter: Answered on 26/07/2022

Hi Tony,

Thanks for getting in touch

Yes you can, the charcoal basket is positioned in the centre, ignited by the gas burners - you can cook with gas on either side.

Hope this helps,
Sam

Question from Alison Albert: Asked on 27/06/2022 When using gas to cook are lava rocks required or suggested?

Answer from SamCarter: Answered on 28/06/2022

Hi Alison,

Thanks for getting in touch

Lava rocks are no longer recommended due to hygiene issues, for cooking with charcoal simply add Outback Hybrid Charcoal Briquettes to the charcoal tray, Outback also sell a replacement for lava rocks called "Hot rocks"
