Question from Al: Asked on 20/08/2026 Are the legs screw in?
Hi, The legs on the Reece Oak Double Wooden Bed Frame (REC002D) do not twist or screw directly into the frame; instead, the four main corner legs are securely mounted using metal angle brackets fixed with M8 bolts and an Allen key, while the central support legs attach to the middle rail with long assembly bolts for maximum structural stability.
Thank you.
Question from Shih-Chieh Chiang: Asked on 28/04/2026 Hello. I would like to know are the wooden slats flat or sprung and what is the gap between slats?
Thank you.
Hi, The Reece Oak Double Wooden Bed Frame (REC002D) features a sprung slatted base consisting of 30 curved wooden slats. These are secured using 30 end caps and 15 center connectors that attach to a middle support rail reinforced by three support legs. Given the internal frame length of 196.5cm and the layout of 15 rows of slats , the gap between each slat is approximately 6cm to 7cm, providing a sturdy and breathable foundation that supports a maximum weight of 240kg.
Thank you.
