Stable and Fine Image Capture
Insta360 have taken their already impressive FlowState Stabilisation and improved it for use with the ONE R, no matter which lens mod that you have attached. Because of this, it works very well in low-light situations, slow-motion shots and does not need a gimbal. Equally, the ONE R has improved visual with H.265 encoding and upgraded image processing.
Colour Plus Export
Insta360 recognised the popularity of having vivid and bright colours when using action cameras e.g. large landscape shots, wilderness vlogging and sports. Because of this, they have their Colour Plus option that will lift your colours and contrast to give a hard-hitting final image. However, the Insta360's own internal colour rendering accuracy is note-worthy in itself and definitely shouldn't be overlooked.
Auto Framing and TimeShift Options
The Auto Frame feature makes your life easy by identifying your best shots and reframing 360° video for you. The proprietary computer-vision algorithm that is implemented in this unit allows for a range of scene-specific angles as well as some useful standby shots to make your life easier. Then there is the Auto TimeShift setting that uses a similar method on hyperlapse shots; making a smooth and well stitched image – The very same feature that made the so effective and popular. This is where the improved Insta360 FlowStage stabilisation really shows its colours as you have high-quality photographs or video that has next to no unwanted motion blue within; perfectly capturing that moment in time that you're looking for. Of course, with this modular system, you can easily set the touchscreen to be front or rear-facing for your 4K capture meaning that this camera has even more applications such as vlogging.
Insta360 Cine-Shot Templates
There are lots of ways to experiment with the ONE R including the AI auto edited and image recognition Cine-Shot Templates available. Some of these options include, but are not limited to, Stop Motion, Time Flip, Star Lapse, Roll Planet, Jump Planet and their Bullet Time Mix setting. These creative filters make this action camera even more fun to play with when you are out and about.
