Question from Karen: Asked on 30/01/2026 When having this cooker installed we now have a problem where it does not fit flush to the wall? Fits perfectly between work tops. My last 2 cookers were designed to fit flush to the wall over the connection? It has totally spoiled the look of the kitchen units. The cooker itself I am very pleased with but would appreciate any advice concerning this problem
Hi, Your new Indesit 60?cm double oven does not sit completely flush against the wall due to the position of the mains cable. This is a normal feature of modern cookers and does not affect performance.
The cooker fits perfectly between your worktops, and the gap at the back is purely a design and installation issue. Options to improve the appearance include using a right-angle plug, adjusting the feet, adding a decorative trim, or slightly recessing the socket.

Hi, The Indesit 60?cm Double Oven Electric Cooker (IDE6VMB) does not include a power cable or plug. A dedicated supply cable and isolator are required, and installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
