Hi, Yes — the Hotpoint DIH10DIX does allow you to programme delayed cooking. It doesn’t have a separate “start later” button, but you can set a cooking duration and a finish time, and the oven will automatically calculate when to switch on so the food is ready at the selected time.

Question from Claire: Asked on 24/01/2026 Hello, This says it is a Built Under double oven. The height it 89cm...which is pretty much the height from the underside of my counter top to the floor. Looking at the diagram it shows it built in more as a high level. So if you do want this under the worktop...what do you do? Does it sit on the floor or can you get a housing for it?

Even though its height (89?cm) roughly matches the space under your countertop, it cannot safely be installed there, because it requires tall-unit installation for proper ventilation. Hi, To lock the time/timer controls on the Hotpoint DIH10DIX double oven, use the key lock feature on the control panel. Press and hold the button with the key/lock symbol until the key icon appears on the display. This prevents any changes to the timer or clock. To unlock it, press and hold the same key/lock button again until the key icon disappears. While the key lock is active, the timer buttons will not respond.

Hi, The Hotpoint DIH10DIX built-in electric double oven cannot be plugged into a standard domestic socket. It must be hard-wired into a dedicated electrical supply by a qualified electrician, as it draws more current than a normal socket can safely handle.
