Question from Hotpoint NSWA946WW UK: Asked on 13/02/2026 Is there a filter, if so where is it located
Hi, Your Hotpoint NSWM1046WUK washing machine does have a drain pump filter, but it doesn’t have a simple flap you can just open on the front. To clean it, you’ll need to remove the bottom front panel to get to the pump. Make sure to unplug the machine first and have towels or a shallow tray ready, as a small amount of water will come out when you remove the filter.
If you’re not comfortable taking off the panel, it’s safest to have a qualified technician do it. Cleaning the filter regularly will help prevent blockages and keep your machine draining properly.
Thank you.
Question from Andy: Asked on 19/10/2025 Does this have self clean option
Hi Andy, yes, this washing machine has an "Auto-Clean" cycle for its internal parts; it must be run without any load in the drum. Thank you.
