Question from Jack: Asked on 23/04/2026 Can you use butane gas for this?
Hi, According to the official electriQ EQODGPBL user manual, this patio heater is compatible with both butane and propane gas. The manual specifies the gas types, pressures, and consumption rates for each. Please note that butane should only be used in temperatures above 5?°C (40?°F), as performance may be unreliable in colder conditions. Propane is recommended in cooler weather. Always use a regulator suitable for the gas type, securely fit the gas cylinder in the heater housing (maximum 13?kg), and perform a leak test before use.
Thank you.

Question from Sharon: Asked on 04/04/2026 How long will a gas bottle last
Hi Sharon,A 13kg propane gas bottle will typically last around 13–14 hours if the electriQ Pyramid Flame Tower Gas Patio Heater is running at full power, but it can last much longer—around 20–40+ hours—if you use lower heat settings. Smaller 5kg bottles usually last about 5–6 hours at full power. The actual duration depends on how high you set the heat and how often you use the heater. Thanks!
