Question from Kerron: Asked on 07/04/2026 What is the colour temperature of the LED light? Is it closer to 6500K, 6000K or 5000K?
And if the light fails, is it necessary to replace the whole unit or just the bulb?
And if the whole unit has to be replaced, what does it cost and can i fut it myself or must i hire an electrician to do it?
Hi, According to the official manual for the Candy CGM60NX1 cooker hood, the lighting is specified as a 2W LED lamp, however the manual does not state a colour temperature (Kelvin rating), so it cannot be confirmed whether the light is closer to 5000K, 6000K or 6500K from official information. The lighting is a replaceable component, meaning if it fails there is no need to replace the entire cooker hood, only the lamp itself. In most cases this can be safely replaced by isolating the power and fitting a new lamp, although if there is any uncertainty, a qualified electrician should carry out the work.
Thank you.
