Question from Daniel Dainty: Asked on 13/04/2026 Can it be plumed in to natural gas line
Hi Daniel,The Boss Grill 6 Burner Built-In Gas BBQ (IQBBQINT6BL) is designed for propane (LPG) and cannot be connected directly to a natural gas line unless a compatible conversion kit is available and fitted by a qualified Gas Safe engineer, which does not appear to be the case for this model. Thanks!
Question from Dean: Asked on 08/04/2026 Can I ask, is the drip tray for this bbq removed from the front or the rear?
Hi Dean,For the Boss Grill 6 Burner Built-In Gas BBQ (SKU IQBBQINT6BL), the drip/grease tray pulls out from the rear of the BBQ, not the front. This is how the design is made so you access the tray from behind the unit once it’s installed in your built-in space. Thanks!

Question from Boss grill 6 burner: Asked on 08/04/2026 Boss grill 6 burner built in. Height is 495mm. If I wanted it built in on a shelf what depth of shelf would you recommend without impeding opening of the grill
Hi,For a built-in installation of the Boss Grill 6 Burner (IQBBQINT6BL), the shelf should have an internal depth of at least 620?mm to fit the grill body. However, to allow the lid to open fully without obstruction and to provide adequate ventilation behind the unit, a depth of around 800?mm or more is recommended. This ensures safe airflow, prevents heat buildup, and keeps the lid from hitting the back of the cabinetry. Thanks!
Question from Dean: Asked on 07/04/2026 How much space is required behind the BBQ to open the lid so it’s not hitting a built in section behind it?
Hi, The manufacturer’s instructions state that the BBQ must have a minimum clearance of 1 metre (100 cm) from any obstruction to the sides and rear, and this requirement must be followed for safety, ventilation, and proper operation; therefore, no built-in structure should be placed within 1 metre behind the unit, even if the lid may physically open with less space, as the full clearance is required to comply with the installation and safety guidelines.
Thank you.
