Hi Steve,The Bosch DWK65DK60B is a 60 cm cooker hood, designed to match a standard 60 cm hob, and while a wider hood can sometimes improve extraction by capturing more steam at the edges, a correctly positioned angled 60 cm hood like this one generally performs very well and is perfectly suitable for a matching-sized hob.Thanks!

Hi, The Bosch DWK65DK60B chimney hood comes with metal grease filters only, which are included and should be cleaned regularly. It does not include carbon/odour filters.
Carbon filters are only needed if the hood is used in recirculation mode (air is filtered and returned to the kitchen). These filters are flat rectangular panels, not round. If your hood is connected to an external vent, carbon filters are not required.
