Hi, The footstools included with the 8 Seater Beige Rattan Cube Garden Dining Set (FTR224) do not have storage compartments and do not open. They are designed to be used as seating or footrests and can be neatly tucked underneath the table as part of the cube-style design for space-saving storage.
