Hi, The Qlima PortaCool 5000 BTU is supplied with a pre-connected refrigerant hose between the indoor and outdoor units, and this is not designed to be detached and reconnected by the customer. The manual does not provide instructions for disconnecting the hose, so for an external wall installation the recommended approach would be to route the existing hose through the opening while keeping the two units connected. Attempting to disconnect the hose may affect the refrigerant system and could impact the operation of the unit.

Hi, The Qlima PortaCool 5000 BTU Smart Portable Split Air Conditioner has an adjustable temperature range of 16°C–30°C, but the actual temperature it can achieve in a summer house will depend on factors such as the room size, insulation, sunlight exposure and outdoor temperature. In a suitably sized, well-insulated summer house, it should help bring the temperature down to a more comfortable level, although a specific room temperature cannot be guaranteed in all conditions.
