Question from Krobson: Asked on 21/11/2025 Hi. Can this be used with a plug rather than hardwiring? Thanks
Hi,Yes, the Hotpoint PHVP64FALK 60?cm Angled Cooker Hood comes with a plug, so it can be connected to a standard mains socket instead of being hardwired. Just ensure the socket remains accessible after installation, as required by UK safety regulations. Thanks!
Question from DIYWKM: Asked on 01/11/2025 Does the extractor fan need the top duct if on recirculation mode?
Hi,In recirculation mode, the top duct is not needed because the air is filtered and returned back into the kitchen, rather than being vented outside. However, if you switch to extraction mode, the ducting would be required to vent the air outside. Thanks!
