The Carter high sleeper bed in grey is the perfect all-rounder for kids' and teen bedrooms. It's an all-in-one solution, which includes two desk area spaces, a small drawer, eleven storage shelves, plus an open wardrobe with a rail to hang clothing. There's plenty of space on the desk for doing homework and even a drawer for storing essentials. The bed has a wooden slatted base and fits a standard UK single mattress, which is not included, giving you the freedom to pair it with a mattress of your choice.

Question from Clare: Asked on 06/10/2025 States max height for mattress is 18cm, we have 23cm excellent mattress only a year old is there anything we could use. Guardrails wise instead of getting rid of a perfectly good mattress.
Hi Clare, unfortunately, this product does not come with extendable guardrails to support a 23 cm mattress. The recommended maximum mattress height is 18 cm for safety reasons, as a thicker mattress would reduce the effective guardrail height. You could look into universal bed rail extenders or risers, but we would advise caution to ensure the bed remains safe and stable. I am moving into a small room, I thought this loft bed would be good to save space and as it has a built in desk. I am male. 5ft8 and 70kg, is this bed for kids or will I be comfortable in it/fit
