Question from Sheena: Asked on 28/08/2026 Do you need a gas engineer to install a gas hob? The info says plug in?
Hi, Although the hob is described as “plug in”, this refers to its electrical connection for the ignition. As it is a gas hob, the gas supply must still be connected by a Gas Safe registered engineer. The oven uses a standard UK 3-pin plug and does not require an electrician.
Thank you.
Question from Michael: Asked on 16/12/2025 Does this gas hob come ready to connect via a bayonet fitting
Hi Michael,This gas hob does not come ready to connect via a bayonet fitting; it requires installation by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and any bayonet connector or flexible gas hose would need to be supplied separately. Thanks!
