This hob uses induction cooking technology, so the surface will not get as hot as you cook, making wiping away spills and splashes easy. It is worth bearing in mind that the surface does get hot through residual heat, but indicators remain lit until it is safe to touch. This hob would need to be installed by a qualified electrican. The installation would be hard wired into an electrial point.
