Hi, The electriQ eiQ60TOUCHSLIMA is supplied with a telescopic two-part chimney with an adjustable height range of 429 mm to 819 mm, which can be set by carefully extending the inner chimney to the required position; the manual does not provide instructions for cutting the chimney and all installation work should be carried out by a competent person or qualified electrician, and if the unit is used in recirculation mode the vent openings at the top of the inner duct must remain unobstructed to ensure proper airflow of filtered air.

Hi Tonya,The electriQ 60cm Slimline Chimney Cooker Hood (eiQ60TOUCHSLIMA) comes with a fitted plug, so it can be plugged into a standard socket and does not need to be hard-wired, although it can be hard-wired if preferred.Thanks!
