Hi, This portable air conditioner must be used with the exhaust hose when operating in cooling mode. The hose is required to vent hot air outside the room, otherwise the unit will not effectively cool the space. Without the hose, it will only operate as a fan or in dehumidifier mode, not as an air conditioner.

Hi Billy,The unit is designed to be largely self-evaporating, so in normal cooling use most of the condensation is automatically reused and expelled through the exhaust hose. However, in very humid conditions or during long periods of operation, excess water can still build up, meaning it may occasionally need to be drained. The internal condensation tank isn’t clearly specified in litres, but it acts more as a small overflow reservoir rather than a tank you regularly empty.Thanks!

Hi, This unit operates at around 55–58 dB(A), which is typical for a high-capacity commercial portable air conditioner and is comparable to normal conversation or background office noise. It is not silent, but this is expected for a unit of this size and output. It does come with an exhaust hose (approx. 1.5m) and a window venting kit included in the box, so no additional ducting is required for standard installation.
