Hi, The FRF12B electriQ 12-inch rechargeable fan is fitted with a built-in 2000mAh lithium-ion battery that is charged in place via the charging port and is not intended for routine user removal or replacement. If the battery fails or no longer holds charge, it can be replaced by opening the base of the unit and fitting a compatible FRF12B-specific replacement battery as per the product design.
