Question from Miss Anke M Lockhorst: Asked on 18/04/2022 Which gas size is needed please? Was looking at the calor green 13kg or blue 15kg? Thanks!

Answer from SamCarter: Answered on 19/04/2022

Hi Anke,

Thanks for getting in touch!

BBQs are compatible with both Butane (Blue cylinder) and Propane (Green cylinder) - but Propane is also suitable for the colder months.

If you're looking to store the gas inside the cupboard it would be best to check against the size of the cupboard. A standard Green 13kg Calor Patio Gas has dimensions of 580mm (h) x 315mm (d). The small Calor Patio Gas (5kg) is 314mm (h) x 306mm (d) and will work fine for a 4 burner. Gas shouldn't be stored inside the BBQ while in use.

Hope this helps,
Sam
