Question from lloyd: Asked on 02/02/2026 what cleaning product do you recommend for a hob CDA HN7750FR induction glass top please.
Hi, Thank you for your enquiry about cleaning your CDA HN7750FR induction hob. For the glass surface, we recommend using a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for ceramic or induction hobs.
For stubborn burnt-on spills, carefully use a hob scraper made for glass induction surfaces, then wipe with a soft cloth and the cleaner.
Always ensure the hob is off and cool (or slightly warm) before cleaning, and avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals to prevent scratching.
This method will keep your hob clean and in excellent condition.
Thank you.

CDA 77cm 5 Zone Induction Hob has a letter P on the control area what's that for and can yo tell me how the bridging works ? thanks
Hi Lloyd,On the CDA HN7750FR hob, “P” shows the Power Boost is active, temporarily heating a zone faster.Bridging links two zones into one larger area for big pans. Activate it with the bridge key, adjust the power, and press the key again to separate the zones. Thanks!
Question from abacus maintenance: Asked on 21/01/2026 can the hob be fitted over a tumble dryer
Hi, The CDA 77?cm 5 Zone Induction Hob (HN7750FR) cannot be installed directly above a tumble dryer. The manufacturer’s instructions specify that the hob must not be fitted over appliances that produce heat or moisture, as this can damage the hob’s electronics and create a safety risk. The hob must be installed into a suitable worktop with the correct clearances and ventilation beneath it.
Thank you.
