Question from Ian: Asked on 25/01/2026 What is the cut out dimension
What is the depth of the hob under the glass top
What gap is to be left under the hob to a shelf or oven under

Answer from JoseBacud: Answered on 26/01/2026

Hi Ian,The CDA SCC060FR 60?cm 4-zone ceramic hob requires a worktop cut-out of approximately 560?mm wide by 490?mm deep. The hob itself has an overall depth of about 510?mm and sits roughly 60?mm above the worktop. For safety, it is recommended to leave a clearance of around 100?mm below the hob if there is no oven directly beneath, to protect any drawers or shelves from heat. Always use the supplied gasket to seal the hob to the worktop and ensure that any cabinet below can withstand the heat. Thanks!
