Hi, The CDA 206?Litre Top Mount Retro Freestanding Fridge Freezer has a width of 55?cm. Your recess is 60?cm wide, so the fridge itself will fit. However, for the door to open fully, extra clearance is needed on the hinge side. With only 5?cm of extra space, the door may not open completely to 90°, and could hit the sides of the recess. The fridge is also 61–62?cm deep, so it will protrude slightly from the 60?cm depth of your recess.
In summary: the fridge will fit in the space, but the door may not open fully without additional side clearance.

Hi, Please note that the CDA 206 Litre Top Mount Retro Freestanding Fridge Freezer (model 1194118 – Betty Barley) does not have a reversible door. The door hinge cannot be changed, and it is only available with a right-hand opening.

Question from Ade: Asked on 16/10/2025 Hi the space I have to fit this into is 56.5cm wide. With the fridge being 55cm wide it should fit however if I open the door to a 60 or 90 degree angle would I need any more additional width to allow the door to open that wide?
Hi Ade, with only 1.5 cm clearance, your 55 cm fridge in a 56.5 cm space likely will not allow the door to open fully to 60-90°. Ideally, you would need at least 5 cm extra on the hinge side for smooth operation. Thank you.
