The Andris Lux can be used where hot water is required but where it is not convenient to enlarge the existing central hot water system or where there is no central system at all. KIT A: 2 Litre expansion vessel and non-return valve. Expansion Vessel with non return valve – use if pipework between cold water inlet on the heater and cold tap on the sink is less than 2.8 meters
KIT B: Preset 3.5 bar pressure reducing valve. Pressure reducing valve if mains inlet water pressure is more than 3.5 bars or unsure of the water pressure. The discharge water pipe must be run through an exterior wall and terminate in a safe place such as water drains
KIT C: Discharge Tundish: use if the excess water pipe is of excessive length
Undersink or Oversink?
The only difference here is where the pipe inlets and outlets are: the undersink versions have the connections at the top of the unit, and of course the oversink versions will have these connections at the bottom. So this decision is purely down to where you intend to site the water heater.
This appliance must be installed by a competent person in accordance with local legislation and health and safety regulations.
