Question from AG: Asked on 15/12/2025 Can the wok burner stand be removed to enable you to use the central burner for a normal, standard saucepan?
Hi, You can use the central wok burner with a standard flat-bottom saucepan. The burner itself does not need to be removed. If your hob came with a separate wok support ring, you can remove that so your pan sits securely on the cast iron pan supports. The burner will work safely and efficiently with a normal pan.

Hi,The minimum thickness for a marble worktop depends on how it is supported. For fully supported sections, 20?mm can be used, but for larger spans, overhangs, or cut-outs, 30?mm is the recommended standard to ensure strength and durability.Thanks
Question from Amica 70cm 5 burner gas hob £169: Asked on 22/10/2025 Need clarity please- we have a worktop with a thickness of 3.8cms. How far below that will this hob be when installed? Trying to understand how much it will encroach into the drawer below?
Hi, the hob will sit about 49.5 mm below the worktop, so with a 38 mm thick top, it will encroach roughly 11.5 mm into the drawer below. Thank you.
