Question from Steph: Asked on 07/09/2021 Can this fire be flush to the wall in a fake chimney breast? I have seen different reply’s and want to order. I want it inserted in the wall now sticking out, is this possible?

Answer from EllieNotman: Answered on 08/09/2021

Hi Steph! I can confirm this fire can be set into the wall for a seamless look or wall mounted. I hope this helps!

Kind Regards,

Ellie

Question from marion mains: Asked on 04/02/2021 Hi does this fire have to be inserted into the breast wall or can you just hang freely?

Answer from Meg: Answered on 04/02/2021
Hi Marion. It can be either, it has an option to partially recess it but you can also just wall mount it without recess. I hope this helps. Best wishes, Meg

Question from Rick: Asked on 24/01/2021 When the fire is on do the touch switches and temperature display go off (don't illuminate) after a while? Just thinking it would be nice if switches not bright when on during dark cosy nights. Thanks

Answer from Meg: Answered on 26/01/2021
Hi Rick. This should go out after 10 seconds, and illuminate again when you either touch it or the remote.

Thanks,
Meg

Question from Mark: Asked on 19/11/2020 My recess in the wall is exactly 42.5cm high. Will this fit? I read someone struggled to fit the glass without extra give in the height?

Answer from MeganR: Answered on 25/11/2020
Hi Mark. The glass front on this fire is not recessed. As such the space needs to be at least 43.8cm. I hope this helps, Meg

Question from holly: Asked on 17/11/2020 Does the touch function display disappear when not being used?

Hi Holly. The touch function display stays lit up during operation. Best wishes, Meg

Question from Liz Slater: Asked on 16/11/2020 Are there any heat implications with recessing this? Do you have to install a heat resistant surround? Also are you able to hang a TV over the fire? Sometimes there are issues with heat. Thanks

Answer from MeganRobinson: Answered on 17/11/2020
Hi Liz. You can inset the fire into a recess into the wall if you wish, or there is also a wall mounted option. The heat is dispursed out of the front of the fire at the bottom, so there is nothing in the assembly instructions which state a heat resistant surround. Of course, we would not recommend it is installed near any flammable material. In terms of a TV, the heat is projected from the bottom of the fire so you could hang a TV above the fire. This would be at your own risk and we would recommend a substantial space between the fire and TV and advise you to refer to your TV assembly guide for further instructions.

Question from Ian Robertson: Asked on 04/11/2020 Is the fire fan assisted ? If so where does the vent exit the fire ? I`m assuming top or bottom , but there`s no mention of a fan or which direction the heat flows . Many thanks in anticipation

Answer from MeganR: Answered on 04/11/2020
Hi Ian. The fire has a fan, yes. The vent is at the bottom of the fire. Best wishes, Meg

Hi, we don't have a stand or legs for this fireplace, if you did anything physically to amend it, it would invalidate the warranty. Alternatively we have a fireplace that comes with a stand, you can find this product in the following link: https://furniture123.co.uk/be-modern-amari-35inch-electric-fireplace-in-black-fol096216 , I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any other questions,

Question from GS: Asked on 13/07/2018 Hi, what is the minimum height this needs to be mounted off the ground? Worried about safety issues with the carpet being too close. Also what is the minimum clearance above for mounting a TV above this fireplace.

Answer from Rachel: Answered on 13/07/2018
Hi, we advise that the fireplace is mounted at least 30cm off the ground. In addition, there is no minimum clearance for mounting a TV above as the heat is distributed from underneath the fire. However, we do advise leaving at least 20cm. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Rachel
