With believable and adjustable flickering flames and an authentic log bed with a choice of colour options and brightness, this stylish fire enables you to create the perfect ambience, with or without heat. You can set the daily timer to set your fire to turn on, ready for when you get home. And once the temperature drops from an open window or door, the fire turns off to save energy, plus there’s even an automatic shut-off feature to prevent overheating. It would make a great addition to a media wall and can be fixed flush or recessed for a sleeker, in-depth look. And once it's plugged in, it’s ready to use.
The TUYA Wi-Fi App - To control the fire using your phone, first you’ll need a stable Wi-Fi connection then you need to download the Tuya app; this controls the Wi-Fi and smart element. It can be downloaded via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can even control via your voice-controlled smart speaker (e.g. Alexa, Google) to turn it on and off, ensuring that this is enabled first. Please note the fire is not voice activated unless connected to a smart speaker.

To socket or does it require a fuse spur?
Hi, the AmberGlo AGL069W electric fireplace comes with a standard UK 3-pin plug fitted with a 10A fuse, so it can be connected to a standard 13A earthed socket. A fused spur is not required for a standard plug-in installation, but the plug must remain accessible after installation, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Hi, According to the official AmberGlo AGL069W installation manual, the 70" 3-sided inset electric fireplace does not have a built-in top lip or bracket to hide the metal frame, and the top must remain uncovered for proper heat ventilation. To achieve a finished look while maintaining safety, you can either recess the unit slightly with a small shadow gap around the top edge, or install a custom trim or MDF reveal above the fireplace, ensuring it does not touch the frame and allows free airflow. Any direct covering of the top frame would interfere with ventilation and void the warranty.

The opening needs to accommodate the full width and depth of the unit with the required clearance from walls, ceilings, and combustible materials. The chimney breast must be structurally reinforced to support the weight, and a suitable power outlet must be positioned according to the installation manual, which provides all exact dimensions, clearances, and mounting instructions for a safe, flush installation.

It is a visual-only flame effect system with LED flames and ember lighting, combined with a fan-assisted heat function. The unit does not have speakers or any integrated audio feature, so any fire or crackle sounds would need to be provided externally if desired.

Question from Ciaran: Asked on 25/11/2025 I have a Amberglo AGLO69 70” media wall electric fireplace that I bought from you guys. Just wondering if the heat only comes from a centre vent as opposed to a vent that’s the full with of the device. I had a look under the top section, above the glass and the vent seems to be in the middle only. No issue however I just don’t want to be trying to unclog a vent that either side of the heat vent that’s not there.
