All about me

Flexible Bracing to Suit Your Setup: The loose pinned braces can be repositioned, making installation adaptable to your layout.

Classic Craftsmanship with a Practical Twist: A traditional ledged and braced design that suits a wide range of outdoor spaces.

Secure and Sturdy by Design: The stapled boarding and braces add rigidity, helping the gate resist movement or sagging.

Easy to Install Correctly: Just remember to fit hinges where the braces point down—on the left-hand side as shown.

Traditional, versatile, and built to last, this garden pine gate or shed door is the ideal finishing touch for any garden entrance or outbuilding. Made using a tongue and groove technique, each board interlocks to form a solid and dependable surface that stands up to the outdoors. What makes this gate especially practical is its loose pinned braces, giving you the flexibility to adjust their position depending on your installation needs. Once fitted, the braces and horizontal ledges are fixed with staples for a secure, long-lasting finish. With a natural look and robust build, it’s ready for hinge fitting on the braced side - just follow the direction of the braces and install accordingly.

Question from Sev Tahir: Asked on 22/04/2026 Can it be made a bit smaller in height my gate is standard width and coming in at 1960 mm in height can.it be made to size or we would have to plane /saw it

Answer from JimsonGuzman: Answered on 22/04/2026

Hi, The gate is 1981?mm high, and to reduce it to 1960?mm would require trimming 21?mm from the bottom. However, the maximum trimming allowance is 12.5?mm, which means the gate cannot be safely cut down to the required height without compromising the structure, including the diagonal brace and overall integrity. The hinges and design rely on the original height, so adjusting beyond the allowed limit is not recommended.

Thank you.

Question from Padraic: Asked on 12/12/2025 Can this door be used as an external door

Answer from JimsonGuzman: Answered on 12/12/2025

Hi, This gate is suitable for outdoor use, like a garden or shed door. It’s made of unfinished pine, so it will need sealing or painting before being exposed to the weather. It’s not designed to be a main entrance door for a house.

Thank you.
