Using a combination of advanced filtration, photo-catalytic oxidation and ionising technologies, this quiet air purifier tackles particles as tiny as 0.3 microns. It delivers healthier indoor air and allergy relief for you and your family.
This MeacoClean 47x5 air purifier doesn’t use just one filtration method; it combines a range of filtration technologies to capture a wide range of particle sizes.
The first step is a pre-filter to capture large airborne particles, such as dust. Next, a True HEPA filter deals with microscopic particles down to 0.3 microns (invisible to the naked eye). The third stage is an enhanced activated charcoal filter which destroys smells and odours. This, along with the HEPA filter, has a rubber gasket seal to prevent air leakage. This means that no air will pass through the air purifier without undergoing the filtration process.
The fourth step employs a technology called photo-catalytic oxidation (originally invented by NASA) to remove viruses, bacteria and germs. When UV-light hits the titanium dioxide filter (the catalyst), a reaction takes place, creating hydroxyl radicals which convert impurities into harmless oxygen and hydrogen.
As a finishing touch, an ioniser neutralises dust particles.
