The Nordic Single Tap is a boiling-water tap that only dispenses boiling water. You can have it installed on your work surface, alongside your existing kitchen tap. You then have two different taps: a separate Quooker tap from which you can tap boiling water and a normal mixer tap for hot and cold water. Also available with a straight spout.
the spout is height adjustable and can be rotated a full 360°. An insulated spout ensures it is not too hot to the touch, for safety and energy efficiency.
Can Qookers be installed in any kitchen?
Quookers can be fitted into new kitchens and also retrofitted into existing ones. To install a Quooker, all that is required is space for the tank, a 13 amp power socket, access to waste pipe and a cold water supply underneath the work surface within 500mm. A minimum incoming cold water pressure of 2 bar is required.
Space requirements: The Quooker PRO3 tank requires 400mm of height space and is 150mm in diameter. The Quooker PRO3E tank requires 450mm of height space and is 150mm in diameter. The Quooker PRO7 and Combi 2.2 tanks require 470mm of height space and are 200mm in diameter. The Quooker PRO7E and Combi 2.2E tanks require 520mm of height space and are 200mm in diameter.
Does Quooker provide filtered cold water?
The Cold Water Filter has been designed to allow you to quickly switch from tap water to cold filtered water. Any new Fusion or Flex will now be able to supply cold filtered water via a single push and turn which when engaged will light the tap ring blue. The water passes through an activated-carbon filter which ensures the water tastes and smells better.
How to isolate the Quooker from the water supply
If you need to shut off the water supply to your Quooker, press the Q shaped button on top of the tank to switch the tank off, then run the boiling water tap until it runs cold.
Next, locate the Quooker's inlet combination/shut off valve (a brass valve between the tank and cold water supply) and turn the small grey knob to shut the water supply off.
Please make sure the Quooker tap is not used and the tank is not switched back on while the water supply has been shut off.
What do the lights on my tank and tap mean?
When you first turn on the Quooker tank, a solid red light with an occasional flicker should appear on the tank and tap. This means the tank is heating up.
Once the tank has fully heated the light on the tap should disappear and the light on the tank should slowly fade in and out in a gentle pulse. We call this the tank’s “heartbeat” and it indicates the tank has fully heated and is ready to use.
